Ingredients – 1 cup of almond or walnut milk, juice of 2 medium oranges, tangerines or tangelos and 1 tablespoon raw, unrefined coconut milk.
Preparation - (1) Put the nut milk, orange juice, and oil in a blender and blend on medium until smooth and frothy, about 30 seconds. Add a few ice cubes if you want it ultra frosty.
(2) Pour into glasses and sip slowly savoring the creamy tropical goodness
Yield 1-2 servings.
The Goodness – vitamin C, calcium, potassium, natural sugars, and healthy fat.
Peach Smoothie – Peachy and creamy for all of the peach lovers.
Ingredients – 2 cups of almond or walnut milk, s cups super-ripe fresh peaches, peeled and cut into chunks, or frozen peach slices, 1 tablespoon raw honey or agave nectar, 2 teaspoons raw, unrefined coconut oil and a pinch of sea salt.
Preparation - Put the nut milk, peaches, honey, oil, and salt in a blender and blend on medium until smooth, about 30 seconds. Blend in a few ice cubes for an extra-frosty treat.
Yield 2 servings
